Sarah: Thank you both for joining me. I understand there's been some friction regarding the direction of the marketing campaign. I'd like to ensure we address this constructively today. Remember, our aim is to understand each other's perspectives and find common ground. Jake, could you start by sharing your viewpoint?

 

Jake: Certainly, Sarah. My main concern is that we're focusing too much on online platforms and neglecting traditional marketing avenues. I believe we're potentially missing out on a significant demographic by not leveraging TV and radio advertisements.

 

Emma: With all due respect, Jake, online marketing provides us with targeted reach and the capability to adjust our strategies based on real-time feedback. With our budget constraints, it’s more cost-effective. Plus, our primary audience is more digitally inclined.

 

Jake: Emma, while that's true, we can't assume that everyone in our target demographic exclusively consumes digital media. By avoiding traditional platforms, we're not casting our net wide enough.

 

Sarah: I appreciate both perspectives. Emma, you're advocating for a more modern, targeted, and flexible approach. Jake, you're emphasizing the importance of broader reach and potential missed opportunities in traditional media. Both are valid concerns.

 

Emma: I just feel that in our previous campaigns, our ROI from traditional media wasn't as high as from our digital campaigns. Our analytics showed that most of our engagement came from online platforms.

 

Jake: I'm not suggesting we pour all our funds into traditional media, Emma. Maybe just a small segment to ensure we have all bases covered.

 

Sarah: Here's a thought: what if we run a smaller pilot campaign on traditional media alongside our digital efforts? We can then gauge the effectiveness and decide on scaling it up or down for future campaigns. This way, we're not putting all our eggs in one basket, but we're also being prudent with our resources.

 

Emma: I think that's a reasonable compromise. I'm open to trying it out.

 

Jake: I agree. That sounds like a balanced approach.
